For Retired Hippies Only. What are you listening to?

Pretty much listen to books on CD anymore. I listened to 60s and early 70s music for so many years I got kind of tired of it. I really enjoy listening to books.

One trait that all good music has is that the lyrics have Meaning and Purpose, they tell a story which on many occasions is a chilling homage to real life!
Sixties Seventies and before compositions were so pure and Earthy and the musicians actual inherent talent carried the day. Harmonies and percussion no longer exist. Were so lucky to have grown up in this era because quite frankly present day so-called music flat out sucks!

The one that got away----Never got over my Hots for Carly----

*****My God, this is just such an absolutely Great Song*****

Had to come back and edit this since I forgot the endless hours I've spent listening to Country and Bluegrass.

My listening time works out like 40% R & B and Soul, 40% Early Rock and 20% Country and Bluegrass!
