Ever notice that the plastic cap on the "so called" spray chrome, looks great......but it seems to be impossible to get that affect on your plastic parts....NOT EVEN CLOSE!

Has anyone found a possitive result?

Perhaps there's a brand or process.

Depending upon what you are wanting to chrome, a vinyl wrap seems to be the most reputable way to duplicate metal chrome.

I tried it & it looked passable, but I couldn’t get it dry so it wouldn’t fingerprint. Even after a month. Was afraid to heat cure.

Used the chrome paint on the turn signal housings, turned out pretty good, would have liked more of a shine but its bright in the sun light.

Yeah it did. I can look, bought it at auto zone. Will look and take a picture when I get home

I used air brush Spastix maybe it was called... 3 part kit. Flat black primer, then the chrome, then clear. Looked amazing after one coat. I sprayed it again and it dulled it out. Couldnt bring back the shine that it had from the one coat. I chose it after watching a guy do 20 swatches of different chromes

Always spray a light coat over a black primer.
Experiment with you technique and spray light even coats.
After you get the best shine then spray it with clear.
The idea is to actually spray a thin enough coat to let the black still take up some of the light refraction.
No it will never look great like chrome but you can get it to look good.
