Have LITERALLY played and rewound this compilation over a thousand times.

Nothing Beats Inspirational and Uplifting music and what exceptional and extraordinary talent to deliver that message!

My Gosh ...The Pipes on Carrie are hard to beat...What a voice!

Carrie is the first act to be revealed and advertised at the California Mid-State Fair this summer. I bet the tickets don't last but a few days before sold out.

The Dillards. Bluegrass band from the little town of Salem, Mo. Pretty much all of us that grew up in the 60's watched Andy Griffith. They performed as "The Darling's". They had influence on The Byrds, Eagles, and even toured with Elton John. Rodney Dillard, the last surviving member, is still performing to this day.

The two best banjo players that ever lived, Doug Dillard and Earl Scruggs passed around the same time. Twas a sad time.
RIP mandolin master Dean Webb.

I use to live in Salem. Doug and Rodney grew up playing on the porch with their Mom and Dad. They added Dean Webb and Mike Jayne to their group, and headed for California in 1962. The rest is history.
Rodney is the only survivor of the original group, and is still performing at 77.

I must be losin it. I don't think I've ever heard of them. Great song.

Either I'm losing it as well, or this thread is on dope.
Or both?
A jump from 2014 to last Thursday?

I don't think it was 2014 when I posted All The Way To Memphis by Mott The Hoople in post 2. The song was used in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore.

And why are all the hot links to videos in first posts in the tread funky?
See his, mine, Frankie's and other's?

Quicksilver wasn't the only one that had a song titled "Who Do You Love".
Coincidence?
Mott The Hoople in post 2.
Quicksiliver in post 4.
