Sounds like the Fastback my dad is doing now. Just avoid arias that as not structurally sound like in the middle of the panel. That location get leaded or body filled so a flat spot is going to be covered.
Going to pull it off today , need to seal a couple areas that I had patched for rust. I will punch holes for the weld spots at that time. Thanks for the help. Its just slow and easy from here on.
