I hated to do it but I just don't have time since I'm back working 60 hours per week...too fricking old to drive all day, get home at 9PM and get up at 5am and do it all over.

So I took it to a local race car shop 40 miles from home. Great guys. and good fabricators. They are going. to raise both front x-members and the steering rack to gain more ground clearance plus do the same for the right frame rail. Plus uodated rear four bar brackets.

I bought all the parts from the original chassis builder (Mastersbilt) and they will do the rest.

I own three trailers ...all snowed in so I had to rent a 7x10 trailer to haul it. Kind of embarassing.

I wouldn't worry about it, as long as you're still the one who gets to drive it

Yeah I know... kinda of a thing of pride doing my own work. I've always built my own cars from scratch except for the last modified I raced and now this car.

But I can live with it...

4 bar
I thought you had to run a 3 bar
these days one bar is enough for me- usually too much

from last year
"Agree. It's all a compromise.
The best events to get you off the corner,
will not be the best events to carry you past the flag stand.
If I'm designing a cam for a circle track car that runs from 4,500-7,600rpm,
if they can hook it up,
I'm going to focus more on making the cam efficient at 4,500, then at 7,600rpm.
If they're tire limited, I may go the other way.
It's all a compromise."

so what is the expected off the corner- I'm guessing 50 % of top end???
and
Let's hope the new chassis hooks
whats with the increased clearance'
running the new SUV class?

Yeah I forgot to snap a pic...I own three trailers but they are all snowed in so I had to rent 6x10 to haul it.

Raised steering rack and cross member for more ground clearance. And mounts for new bolt on 4 bar brackets.
