You Guys Rock!!!

Not joking about the steering coupler. In one of your photos I believe I could see the retangular slides that keep the steering shaft able to turn the steering gear. If they come out or the shaft rides up you go in a straight line

Looks like the dust cap is loose.

That's how I live my life. Stright line 1/4 mile at a time. :steering:. I'll look at it tonight when I get home though. I remember trying to remove the steering stuff when I was trying to put the headers on, but I couldn't get it off. If I notice anything loose I think I have some duct tape left over and I'll fix it . :poke:

Steering Coupler Rebuild "How To"

When I rebuilt my coupler I also replaced the bottom seal that's on the early Barracudas. To get the seal on the pin had to be pressed out. The thing was tight!!

The rest of the coupler rebuild is pretty straightforward... except for trying to get the dust cover back in place! I like the way the FABO member did in the "How-to.

No wonder it seemed like my lights were better than I remembered lol.

I'm going to do some LEDs up front next so we can see better at night.
You might want to consider putting your headlights on relays. Crackedback (FABO member) makes a reasonably priced kit (I did it on my own but I would use his kit if I had to do it again). Check out the attached video and see how bright my lights are. I am still using the same halogen lights I put in in 1985.

Yep, Doc. Looks good. I like the dog dish caps. Just take your time so it's safe for that precious cargo riding inside.:steering::thumbsup:

How about you give me that dart for a while and I'll let you know what I think of his relay kit after driving it around during the evenings.

Well... the brakes still feel off, somewhat soft first pump, and then very firm second pump. Needs to be bled some more... fml I dont like bleeding brakes, we still went and got slurpees though (the gas station is literally across the street from my house, I wont drive it to far yet)

Also hows this stuff for greasing bushings it's what is already in my grease gun? Marine grease? Supposed to be better for areas that may experience water and help prevent rust (that's what the back of the cartridge says)

You can post a video of a drive from inside the car anytime!

Heres one from tonight. I fixed my exhaust leak that was at the connection between the headers and exhaust. But my drivers side exhaust hanger was no good, took it off and replaced it with another and now the exhaust is loose. I'll probably have to bolt it through a different hole to lift the exhaust more.

I think lol Rose likes the car, I caught her off guard with the flash
