Hello, before I attempt to cut out this non-A/C plastic bezel to use for a factory A/C control install, I thought I’d ask members first. It looks like it would work. Just don’t want to mess up a good bezel. Thanks to all

By the looks of the pictures the bezels are not the same size . If you are putting factory A/C in a car without factory A/C I would caution you that the heater boxes are quite different and so is the location of the heater fan on the firewall . Even the heater hoses are in a different spot . If, however, you are using an aftermarket system and choose to use factory controls ,then, go for it .

I did the same thing on my rally dash, but it was all flat. I actually cut out a lot larger area glued it in and then bought wood grain decals from Detroit Muscle to cover up the splice. Can’t tell it is spliced at all. Yours with the inset looks a lot harder.

This is a factory A/C car but it was a plain Jane metal dash and I'm wanting a deluxe wood grain one. They are the same size, it's an optical illusion.
