Jingle F***ing Bells...

Put the rear on jackstands and let it idle in drive. See if you can isolate it that way.

Hate to say it, but the frequency makes it seem like the driveshaft to me. Is anything near it or touching it?

Your new rear end, do you know if it has taper or roller bearings? If they're taper, did you pack them with grease? Does the noise go away when you drag the brakes? If also check the dust cover on the Bellhousing. Maybe it's hitting the converter? Or is just loose and rattling?

So many different possibilities.

Dont think anything is shutting the DS,not that I see at least. It seemed to get better when I tightened everything more.

The axles have green bearings. I used Castrol 80w-90 with limited slip modifier, but no extra modifier. I packed the axle seals with grease before installing.

Yes it goes away when I press on the brakes, dont know if that's speed or brakes related though. I'll put it on jack stands tomorrow. dust cover/bell housing may be a good idea to check.

Damn gremlins! Just think in 10yrs maybe I'll be done chasing gremlins and the car will sound/work properly
