I considered having partsmonsta doing a grill restoration. I found out that they clear coat the aluminum after polish. That maybe OK for a trailer queen, but for a car that will be driven, it is just a matter of time before paint over aluminum gets scratched or chipped. I am not saying that they don’t do good work, just saying that I want a process that ends up being like the original parts. The OE bright aluminum on the grill is anodized.
