MSD 83873 ready to run distributor coil ?

I am running this distributor on a mild 440 with fitech setup.

I am not using the fitech to control timing at this time.
I selected the 82073 blaster SS coil . It seems like I am experiencing ignition misses especially right off idle and fouling plugs..

Does any one know if this coil is compatible with the ignition in the ready to run distributor?

what coil would be a better choice if it turns out to be not compatible?

Surely MSD?? can recommend a coil?

Keep in mind "it might be" something else, example.........you using the ignition to trigger the EFI? You may have EMI (electrical interference) causing mis firing of the injectors, etc.

Look for arcing at coil wire. Had that issue with the same coil. Brand new and was shooting spark right out the boot onto the firewall. Could not believe it. Replaced it with a new 1 and problem solved. If it was dropped or had a rough ride being shipped, its all it takes. Couldnt see any cracks or anything.
