1968-74 Slant 6 head.

What pushbutton 904 transmissions will work on my 64 Dart GT slant 6. And, how do I identify different year pushbutton 904's?
Really need to clarify. All pushbutton 904's will interchange. Not all cable shifted 904's interchange. Pushbutton 904 was from 1960 to 1964. 1965 was a "cable shifted 904, but used a "floor shifter" or columm lever, not the pushbuttons. The transmissions are similar, but the valve bodies are different. The valve bodies can be swapped. There are a few other differences, but they only pertain to when rebuilding. Also slant six, and v-8 transmissions have different cases, so cannot be swapped, but most internal parts can be swapped.
Just an example: My 66 Cuda had a 1965 904, with a 1964 PB valve body, converted to full manual, with the push button shifter mounted in a console, between the bucket seats. I also did the conversion to a conventional U-joint from the B&T joint.
Clear as mud?

I do have one cable shifted 904 that has a longer tail shaft/housing, then any of my others. I have no idea what it is from, other then slant six, and visually looks like a 1965.
