In post 1553 you can see the spring wrapped around the secondary door rod. I'm hoping that it's spring loaded shut and all I have to do is pull the pin and take that little Rod off of each one...


Yes. And then wire the secondaries shut. It's worse on a vacuum secondary Holley because there is a similar rod connected to the secondary throttle shaft, but it doesn't open the secondaries. It's there to shut them. When they open with no way to shut them, it's a wild ride. BTDT.
