The DOT is getting tougher on overweight trucking the only answer is adding axels so the weight is distributed to all the wheels,,absolutely unnecessary.
Around here we have "spring breakup" limits, and I doubt you could do anything without extra axles. This includes reduced speed and reduced weight during thaw/ mud season
