Have you checked out Slant6.org ? Several guys there that have done turbo slants. And some are serious slant6 racers.
Something I remember from reading posts there is that the turbo slant's like higher gears (lower numerically) like 2:76 because the turbo's work better with a load on the engine.
I'm no expert on slants or turbos, but you might check it out.
