I have a good neighbor, in fact he painted my Dart (which is STILL apart) I think he's having a "mid life"
His son got into an apprenticship heavy construction and is barely "taking off" with that. The neighbor's son-in-law evidently got the ball rolling on this, he is some sort of banker / financial guy. Seems smart.
THE THREE OF THEM decided to get a dump truck. This is a big SOB. --and expensive-- KW, has 3 sets of pneumatic bogies, plus an air "swing arm" set out the rear. Bear in mind none of them have "heavy truck" experience, other than the "just getting started" son who has his CDL. None are heavy truck mechanics, and the neighbor's shop, while he can get the truck "in" there I don't believe the door will shut. So maintenance? That will be interesting. I wish them luck.....................
