ALERT!! SOUND THE ALARM!!..

Well I finally got up the gumption to tell my engine builder I actually bought offshore heads as he would call them. He really had a disliking for Patriot heads? I said I was coming in to get oil and he said go ahead and bring the heads will take a look at them. After checking out his new state-of-the-art balancing machine and doing a little BS'in we went out to my truck and grab the heads. The open one up and right away he was impressed with the exhaust floor or I believe it's called the short-tern..
He said something about a NASCAR shaped combustion chamber. Then he went on to tell me it wouldn't hurt if I took an old spark plug and cut the strap off and ground back the electrode or whatever and when it had and did like 318 did and smooth out the extra threads.. he said it had 10 degree retainers and he seemed to like that. I questioned the valve seals and he said those are the good ones. I told him I believe it has a 1 angle valve job and we both had a good laugh... I believe he's going to remedy that.. he said he'll give me a call in a week or two and tell me what he finds once he opens them up.. when I said what range am I in price-wise he said just a couple hundred dollars from what I can see but again he wants to open them up I'm get more accurate..
He didn't see any red flags and didn't predict any but of course nobody knows...
