the UPS store should have also offered you insurance. ( even with it its a PITA!!! ) because they will Always blame your packaging. only way around it, is to pay them to package it...…
That is not always true ! I bought a complete six pack from Cal. the UPS store packed the whole thing the air cleaner was in the bottom of the box with the intake and carbs on top the studs for the air cleaner sticking out the top of the stretch rap they rapped it in. when I got it the box was round and the air cleaner smashed one stub broke off in the carb the other broke the carb. UPS told me it was a independent owned store and they don't have anything to do with them. Anybody can own a UPS store. They are the ones that sent the insurance check to the seller, and he kept the money.
