Will a dart back seat bottom work in duster?

Hey there, just went through fitting a 73 Dart Sport rear seat into a 72 Duster and it worked out well, the body hooks seemed to be in the same spots. What you must be mindful of is the wheel base of your car and the donor.... which includes 2 door and 4 door cars.... A scamp or Dart swinger with the shorter wheelbase has a different dimensions in the rear... narrower for one. So in a nut shell, your Dart back seat better be from a Dart Sport or you may have to rig up a custom install if its the narrower seat. Best of luck. Cheers. Jimmy

A Dart? Probably, not. However a Dart Sport, yes.

The Dart Sport is basically a Duster with Dart front end, previously known as a a Demon.

I have decided to keep the vertically pleated 73/74 patterned back seat in my 72 Duster as its in great shape and goes well with the slight custom pattern on the 71 bucket seats I now have. Great people on the site, I'm sure someone is gonna need a seat. All the best. JIMMY
