picked up another toy the other day...
oh man i have to say this cutlass is very enjoyable.. been driving it quite a bit. runs nice and rides so nice and its quiet inside. cruise control even actually works..
so like i said in my first post i want to add OD and the bigger 10 bolt rear with a 3:73 gear along with the bigger sway bars. was also toying with putting bucket and a console in the car...
a couple days ago a friend sends me a link to a rusty *** 442 for sale locally.. t-top car too.. so i go look at it today and it has the bigger sway bars, big 3:73 gear rear, OD trans and bucket seat int. rally dash..etc. also has the better 307 engine (if there is such a thing..lol). i go back and forth with the owner a little and make a deal.. i already have a clean set of bucket seats but i needed some parts and the floor brackets which this car has, the OD trans will get rebuilt and go in my car, the rear will be gone through and get put in my car and the sway bars will probably be on my car next week... a couple friends are already in line for some pf the parts on it too.. its so cool.. feels like 20 years ago pulling an old dart out of a back yard that has a 8 3/4 disc brakes and a built motor for under 1500 bucks...:)
check this rust bucket out... couldn't believe it actually runs too.. not sure what is in the tank can still be considered gas but it runs on it and smells horrible..lol
