I believe I was reading your posts at slantsix.org. My car is used on the street and I am going to do change over to a 2 barrel, with either Dutra Duals or Clifford Shortys.
Yeah, I have a long running thread on there. I describe my experience with building and racing my '65 Dart that I have owned for 20 years. I have run the Autolite 2100 with a Super Six manifold and the Offenhauser manifold.
At one point I was running the 2100 on the Super Six manifold, along with 2.45 rear end gears, along with a '64 4 Speed, this combo was getting close to 24 mpg. That was a very nice combination. It wasn't quick off the line, but 80 was nice.
