Nitrous plumbing A1A...??..

Actually quite easy to get these carbs off and everything all is one. Just to 8 1/2 inch nuts and washers, pop the fuel rail and the throttle linkage and off she comes everything.
we'll see if we can't get these plates and stuff hooked up but I know there's going to be some more modifications to the hood to make it all fit, quite possibly the fuel rail as well..

The foot bones connected to the ankle bone, the ankle Bone's connected to the knee bone, the knee Bone's connected to the hip bone LOL....
I'll work on the fuel side next. I need to drop the fuel pump out from under the back of the car. Get the pump and regulator mounted and plumbed in along with the pressure gauge and low fuel pressure cut off switch...
Then wiring...

...

I was just thinking of some kind of 3 a n fittings that I could screw my fiel side Jets into to be able to simulate a fuel shot test. Once I get the fuel side hooked up I want to be able to maintain fuel pressure while the system is open. In order to do that I'd like to just connect my Jets to some kind of dummy plate or something and have it in a little trough or something.. not that I would be squirting a crap load of fuel into the motor but I don't like the idea of trying to test and see if I'm getting steady fuel pressure to the Jets then dumping it all into the motor... I already see some kind of little fitting being like $10 each. Then my mind goes to that junk $44 Speedmaster nitrous plate. But it did come with a bottle bracket that I'm going to need and those are around $40 anyway you slice it or a lot more. And it comes with solenoid holders and other stuff... the only problem is one of them was plugged LOL and that wouldn't have helped me at all but I guess I could have just drilled it out for the purpose of holding a fuel jet and letting it spray freely...

The fuel side of my system is metered by a 1/8" pipe nipple with a Holley jet pressed into it. Basically drilled out one end of the nipple to a size that allowed the jet to be pressed in and then screwed that nipple into the nitrous plate. I see Holley jets as small as .040", you could "T" both sides of your fuel system into a Holley jet with about the same area as two of your fuel jets, and let them flow thru a return hose back to the supply tank.

Here's one piece I've been waiting on and I'll be damned if that cheap junk Speedmaster nitrous kit doesn't come with one of these as well. I think at this point it's becoming a no-brainer to order thes kit again.. for the $44 I get this $15 part, actually better nitrous solenoid holders and I can't find any bottle brackets for under $39 or $37 anyways. Plus I'll get that junk nitrous plate I can use as a Parts piece for testing. I could also use part of what weed burner here is saying and just basically saw those little n off the nitrous plate and screw in my Jets and have them go back to feed lines or just into a dump bottle that I can just feed back into the tank..

All looks nice, but you are making things complicated to me, its the way you want to do it and thats ok, have a read of this thread, for some more info>...the bit where some guys forgot to connect the Fuel line for N20.

Big Nitrous, if you miss A/F ratio, better to miss rich or lean?
I went ahead and read all that and it seems like some of the guys are saying they had a better run when it happened LOL..
I know I'm overthinking a lot of stuff and that's generally what I do and most things anyways. I know I don't have to have the retard box but I only see myself giving small shots at a time and don't want my timing retarded 5 degrees for 3/4 of my run. Also the kits don't come with a low fuel pressure cutoff switch. Which would save me in the case that they're talking about I do believe... If I forgot to turn on the fuel the solenoids would never get power.. I think everything I'm doing is to keep things safe. The stand-alone fuel cell to make sure I can put 110 Sunoco into the shot..
A couple of my mottos are I'm old and crazy not young and stupid and also let's not run down there and bang one of those sheep let's walk down and bang them all....

I'm pretty open to things, but banging sheep isn't one of them!!

LOL

Does your wife know you participate in this sort of thing??????

Metaphorically speaking of course...
Weirdo...
Please pass on some of your vast nitrous experience and add too....

We know Pittsburgh doesn't have any experience with nitrous... Only buying bottles and equipment and too scared to try it...

Nailed it. Lol. I was just reflecting today and realized I’ve done this 45 years and never missed a season of racing. Two kids, divorce, house and shop for sale, heart attack, urinary infection that almost killed me, rolled an 8.40 running race car, and last years car wreck and concussion. Has it slowed me down? Heck ya. But I can still do it 100% by myself. Who knows maybe even a nitrous hit or two in my secondary car. With racing almost every weekend it makes it hard to race two cars.

Two divorces two lost houses.. 2018 was one hell of a year.. near fatal accident where a14 Challenger ran a red light and t-boned me in the driver side, then in July had a stroke in my left eye then and November my appendix erupted... Yes I've slowed down a bit but not for long LOL...

I think I'm going to disconnect that fuel pump today I have the day off but it's raining out. I'll see if I can't get it mounted under the driver side engine compartment. Along with the fuel regulator as well. I'll go up to the part store and get some fuel line and maybe even some solid line that I can use as well...

I haven't done a ton of nitrous tuning. Like I said...I'm a cringing chicken so I would be relatively cautious and back into the tune up.

What fuel pump is that?
it's the summit brand but it's actually a Holley it actually says Holley on the regulator..
