I would like to hear what experiences someone has had with the TTI SHORTY headers in a 440 dart. Would there be less interference with everything due to one 3" pipe vs 4 1.3/4" pipes going by the starter, t bars,.......

I know there will be a small sacrifice in performance over long tubes , but much better than manifolds. Maybe a good compromise ?
thanks. :usflag:

Auto or stick car? The TTI have larger primaries then Schumacher but the Schumacher are longer in design. No significant performance difference in the two. I’ve had both. I noticed in your avatar pic you have aluminum heads, do they have raised ports? This could also be a limiting factor.

Here are some photos of the TTI shorty headers on my 383 / 727 which may help you see and decide if that is the way you want to go.
The only thing I had to do was tap in the drivers side extension pipe as it was hitting the torsion bar, but that could have been do to the placement or alignment of the engine being just a little off.

The alum head are stock height ports , but do have angle spark plugs. IDK if that would be a factor with the TTIs.

I'm running Stealth440 heads which does not have angled plugs and they are very tight around the plugs. I would give TTI a call
and tell them what your running and see what they say.
