Father and son restoration 1st car

Dash is all buttoned up. Installed the wideband meter in the corner of the glovebox so it is visible with the glovebox door open. Had to put the manual back in.

This is the old grill from my car that got replaced with one I restored. Going to start on it this weekend. Car needs a new set of teeth.

Started rebuilding the steering column tonight also. Got is disabled cleaned and painted. Will let it dry for a couple of days.

Steering column is off the list and in the car. Was a breeze to rebuild.

All the fuel lines are in. Modified some the the clamps to allow a longer Allen head though. Drilled and tapped and installed.

Logan got a new trunk board cut out using the original as a pattern, and got the trunk mat installed. Actually he cut two out, one for my car also. So we both got new shiny trunks tonight.

Got front part of carpet roughed in and shifter bolted down and adjusted.

First time car has been run in twenty years I'm guessing. No leaks. This seems like it is going to be a quick revving engine, very responsive. You will have to excuse the thrown together open exhaust.

 
first test spin. Everything seems to be working good. I love the way this built 727 feels with the 3.55s
