And people OFTEN mount tires on wheels that are too narrow for the section width of the tire resulting in a wasted and ineffective tread width at any given PSI and in handling applications it equates to more sidewall roll.
The tire you see on my car are 28x12.50 MT Sportsman Pro tires. They are a 13.1 section width (advertised) They are mounted on 11.25" wheels. Most guys would mount those on 8-10" wheels.
