Tire expansion under throttle?

Hopefully this question makes sense.

I am looking at buying a new set of rear tires for my Duster. It is tubbed and I currently have a fairly large set of BF Goodrich Drag Radials on it. 345/55/15.

Published Specs
Tire diameter 29.8
Section width 14.6
Tread width 11.6

Unfortunately the same size is no longer available through BF G and I am looking at a set of Mickey Thompsons.

My concern is how much space I have in my wheel well with 'tire expansion'. Ie.. when I lay into it and the tires thins out and get taller. (Not sure if there is a specific term for this)

I guess my question is, is there a way to know how tall a particular tire will get when under throttle?

Side note.. if anyone has a set of said BF G tires mentioned above I would be interested in purchasing to save myself some work lol
If are looking for a drag/dual purpose tire and not just some big radials to cruise with I would probably go smaller on diameter to make sure you have enough room. The manufacturer should be able to give you that info.
