I wanted to put some custom tips on my car so I purchased these online.

I didn't like the plain ends so I bent up my own SS rings to heliarc on the tips.

They will look something like this when I weld them on------------------

wow, that is impressive! Are the rings hand formed are did you make a little jig for those?

To make my new tips fit there was some cutting on the rear lower panel.

The right side had never been used so I located it and matched it to the left side. I am thinking about
1/2 of the tip up in the panel with about 1/2 below and about 3" of reveal past the lower edge. We'll see.

I finally got some time today to detail my exhaust tips. The heliarc work to weld the rings is
beautiful. I did grind the welding but I didn't want to.

After grinding, buffing and polishing this is the finished product. Looks homemade but I don't care
I like how they will look on the car!

Another view of the after polish product. I already have the slot at the exhaust shop, he is just
waiting for me to bring the car in. Tuesday I hope------------------Cheers and stay safe all!!!!!!

nice
are you going to have to notch the transmission support too?

Here is the finished product on my test drive today.

They aren't perfect, I would have liked them tucked in tighter to the cutouts but--------

Would have liked to trim the cutouts too but finished car and spring here-no time for
welding and painting, I am just going to drive it for now---------------------
