the new Midway

I haven't seen this one yet.
I'm a bit of a war buff, been that way since I was a kid.
The movie 'Patton' pissed me off when I got to see it.. using 50's era US tanks with German markings.. really! My brothers got pissed at me for calling it out, lol. Saw it in 1975 or so.
I haven't watched the 'Pearl Harbor' movie .. seems like a love story movie from what I've seen.
One recent one I did like was 'Fury'. They got the last actual working German Tiger Tank in it, which was quite the feat to do. That said, a Panther would have been more realistic on that front at the time.
I'd like to see how realistic it is with equipment.. curious to see how they represent the F4F's, TBD's, SBD's, and the A6M's and B5N's.
Seen Pearl Harbor, yea not a 'true' war movie, but I enjoyed it anyway. I really liked Fury too. Didn't know about the last Tiger, nice factoid. I think they got the hardware right, why not? a lot of it is digital anyway. All the AA cannon looks right too me. They keep it a real war movie too, never straying too far or too long from the battle zone. Still, I wouldn't call it great, like the original Midway or Battleground. I love this scene...
