No I am sure you can just bolt the tabs on the shock bolt (maybe get a longer bolt) and it should work. Just ignore the tab on the QA1 arm and treat it like a stock arm with no tab. Here is a pic:
See where the L shaped tab is bolted to the a arm with the shock bolt? That is what I am going to do.
