There's 3-3/8" cups at Summit.....

One from Autometer (the MP tach mfg) has this answer to the "fit" question.........
AutoMeter Gauge Mounting Cups 5203
This mounting cup will accommodate gauges with an outer case dimension of 3.375 in. (3 3/8") and a depth of 2.750 in. (2 3/4"). The depth measurement should be taken from the back of the bezel / trim ring to the furthest point on the rear of the gauge case (including terminals, connectors, mounting studs, etc.).
IMO, You would probably need to modify (shorten or remove) the panel mount studs on the gauge back.
BTW, you may be able to back the studs deep enough into the tach and just lock them down with the nut.
