67 twin turbo dart

Got the rest of the oil lines done and tightened down, and finished the shifter cable with the new one and hardware, works great. The new dipstick from lokar had a short dip stick and barely sticks out so shall see what they say. Also some how the wrong fittings were placed in the bag for a 3/8" to 6an so wrote the company about that too lol always something, hope next saturday to get to the cutting of the inner fender wells to get a better idea for the exhaust.

Ordered some exhaust pieces so that starts this weekend and removing part of the inner fenderwells for now, shall see if the while thing stays. Been busy with work and family stuff. System will be 3.5" off the turbos round to oval to under the car then to 4" round to bullets then to dumps angled a little outward. Will mock up the end pieces first, then work on turbos down to it.

Have the pieces I ordered, but just bought a house so we will be moving I to it here soon then back to work on the dart and get the exhaust mocked up and welded so i can finally start it up.

Well put the headers on, need to order some 6 pt bolts for a few holes, but looks like I need to remove the front part of the inner fenders to clear the turbos. And need to buy a few spark plug wire protectors and clamp on heat shield for the area close to the master.

did you plan on running an intercooler? If so air or water. I am in the fence. I am not going to push mine past 10psi boost on the street so I can get by without probably. But I would rather be safe than sorry. I also have an option for meth injection but I hear on the street it’s a ***** and always empty. Figured I would ask for thoughts??

It has twin air/water intercoolers tucked up on the front fenders behind the head lights.

Sorry no updates moved into our house this past weekend and haven't hooked up the air compressor yet at the house, the Dart is still at my parents house so might get a little work done we shall see, house still has alot of boxes to go through and put away.

So true, but it is to a bigger house then what we had in cali plus a 3 car garage, guess what will be taking up the third car and the space between hehe just my wife's car will be in the garage besides so a lot of room to work on the dart.

Well after a while between work and other things, dad having surgeries, bringing the car home finally to work on it again, got all my tools moved over, just need to wire in the air compressor, trying to find someone. Then back to work on the dart, got the new steering wheel mounted on so we can turn the wheels pushing it up the driveway.

Got her home today. Time to start chipping away again, atleast its home and easier to work on now.

Went out and got some vehicle doly's for the car today so I can slide it over a bit more, nice thing is still can open both doors all the way still. Still trying to find a electrician to wire in the compressor so I can cut the inner fenders a bit. But will get on the exhaust front the rear forward, have most of it to weld it up.

Well finally got to go work on the car. Fab up the rear portion of the system, going to dump in front of the rear diff. Had to buy new wire and had trouble feeding it, ended up finding the birds nest of wire trapped inside the line. All the pipe laid out on how its going to be, still havent got my air compressor wired in, if anyone local here wants to help out I don't touch 220 volts lol. But exhaust is 3.5" from turbos oval (to get past the steering column and headers) to round to just behind the trans cross member then stepped up to 4", had some 3.5" S pipes made up for my 72 Satellite but since won't very using it on that will cut and fit them to the dart. Need to trim a bit of the mid plate for clearing the downpipe to under the car. Man I wish I had a lift lol all this on the ground sucks lol

Got the wideband control box wired to a fuse just need to go get a 6amp one, wired the led strips for the cup holders also to a fuse but need to get a 3 amp for that. Rough clocked a turbo (still need to do the left one) on the header mount and installed the reflex gaskets on them, hopefully after I get paid will go get the breaker for the air compressor and get that wired in this weekend for I can cut the inner fenders for clearance. Need to order a few more parts for through exhaust to finish through fab but getting a little closer.

Dug through a box that had a few stock parts in it and found the wiper blades so now I officially have wipers which do work or should rewired it all. Also drilled the hole for a boost signal but can't find my 1/8"x27 npt tap to put in the an fitting then will get a an to barb fitting like I upgraded the blow off valve too.

Following! doing a similar build. Maybe following you I can save myself some trouble and vice versa!lol

Have been watching your thread too, anyway I can feel free to ask. Your doing a awesome job on yours.
How do you feel about the on3 turbos? Yours is pretty awesome!

And what alternator is that? Lol

Thanks, from all the research I did before I bought them that they are pretty decent turbos for the price, and good performance. Its a billet aftermarket Chrysler Mopar High Output Billet Alternator
They have a calculator to help get the right one for the demand your set up will need.

I went through your thread from the beginning. Yours is alot prettier and refined vs mine. Looks awesome. Impressed with the quality and precision.

Lol thanks its been a thought out process, a lot of things changed from Mad darts original design. But a lot of his plan is still there and his hard work. Yours is coming along great, you have some good quality work your putting in yours too.

I have compressor air, thanks to Jeff Alder and those that posted on my other thread asking. First time wiring in a 220volt breaker. Time for more work lol
