Oil filter relocation kit

In a dodge ram forum i read that someone had 35psi after oil filter relocation another gentlman claimed to have drilled and tapped them larger i was under the impression oil pressure was really made with the pump amd bearings?
This maybe my true question here.. My relocation mount is 10an. 1/4 npt to 10an seems to be a very small fitting to a large fitting and possibly restricting should i worry about a drop in pressure because of that restriction? i always thought oil pump (im using a melling oil pump with the 65 spring i believe it was) and bearings (i had everything rebuilt) is where oil pressure is made?
Your thinking is fine. The pump is the source and where the bearings are is the drop. To much clearance and pressure drops. But the bearings are not the soul spot for woe and troubles. You can have fine pressure readings in the galleys leading up and around the engine but not at the bearings. Oil pressure readings are taken at the sender... up top of the block... far far away from the bearings. Bearings can be looked at as a controlled leak.

Does anyone have low pressure issues with remote oil filter?
None, zero, nope. Filter relocation kit on 360 LA’s for years, also on a 03 Dakota -V6 for years.

Replace the hoses every 2 years with new clamps.
