Drag Truck Part 2 "blackmark redemption"

-
Trust me, I prefer a Duster any day of the week and twice on Sunday over a truck..... and I like trucks. I needed a cheap mopar that was RWD, yet something that had old school look and feel. I don't think we could have done better in my nick of the woods, and I think it's better look'n than a 4 door Diplomat. LOL

Although I have a very stripped down 72 Duster and a 68 2 door Valiant , which are my favorite Mopars, they need more work than I have time or money for this year. So I will be building Old Yeller, it is rough, but just needs a motor, valvebody, and converter to be on the road...and 1/8th.

Honestly, after borrowing my oldest son's Valiant last summer, I forgot how much I love driving A bodies, and I need one.

Well, gotta go. Indy bound in 45 minutes!

although my D150 2wd long bed outrides any Duster, has more leg room and is easier to get in and out of... lol …. By the way, I might have a race lined up for today :D

The ole' 318 2bbl w/single exhaust and 2.71's / 31" tire hung with the Ram a lot better than I thought it would. Actually left it through 1st but couldn't manage the lead by the end of the 1/4. We have our starting point. First thing Jake said was "318willrun" :D
race will be on the next video....

I'm not falling for that trick. oh that was was some dashboard you pulled from the junkyard and some sound effects...
I wouldn't believe it unless I seen the tire smoke...lol...

With the brake slammed to the floor. if it wasn't dark cold and raining outside I'd go out and grab the dash from the 72 truck I had and make the gauges buzz around with a drill while I screamed out vroom vroom vroom LOL....

well, I don't know if you are being silly or what, but that was a nice sunny day and my truck was loos'n weight on the pavement. I don't have to brake-torque that at all. She'll lay a patch just at a dead punch. Exactly like you see in the video. LOL.

LOL I didn't see any truck laying any patch all I seen was gauges going around and around...

Kind of reminded me when I tested one of the gauges with a drill... Kind of uneventful...

Kind of hard for me to video the wheel while i'm driving... LOL. Trust me, no camera trickery. I don't know how to add tricks. :D

And yes of course I'm busting your seeds as always... Which of course gets everybody else bent out of shape but not you LOL...
