Hey, how'd you do on Sunday? Sounds like the show may be on the upswing with the new owners? Just wanted to hear your take on it.

Only sold 3 452 bb heads. lol
But finally had time to do a little buying.
AMD Duster patch panels l & r
LD340 intake
Mopar red, ehite and blue flag
Ebody clutch pedal setup(I don't need)
Heater blower mounting bolt
Aluminum diamond plate tailgate cover for a 70 Dodge pickup. Been looking for one of these for a long time.
Bought a used pair of 340 Duster rear leaf springs. Going to try to tie them in a knot with my Slide-a-links.

So I didn't sell much of anything on Sunday like I have in the past but I had a good time shopping.
Plus I got to play with a buttheaded ebody swapper that needs learn to turn to the left where there is of pleanty of space to get out. I think he was a bully. he want to use my swap space to turn right. I think a torsion bar might be able to change his way of thinking. After told him I wasn't going to move anything else and if he wanted to sit there until the whole thing was over so be it or he could just turn left and drive out the other end of the building. I love playing with bullies. Usually the onlything they don't expect is resistance. Resistance can be my middle name if you'd po me. And he was trying to real hard. Put my gentle disposition and just downright goodness on trial is what he was doing..
We did have a super time at the swap meet.

I don’t think new owners had anything to do with it. The weather the last 2-3 years has been terrible. Last year there was an ice storm and blizzard warnings that I know kept a bunch away. That combined with a better economic picture i think is what drove it more than anything else.

Or Russ may have something to do with it, the fact that last Friday was Russ's last day.

Maybe that's why they had the banquet for the vendors Saturday evening. Celebrating Russ being gone. lol
Good chicken wings btw.

We have been vending at this show for seven years and the attendance this year was the largest that I have seen since we started. There was four of us working our spaces and from 9:30 to 1:30, all of us typically had three to four people in line asking questions and another three to four people trying to pay us. It was just crazy. Like others said, after 2:00; it dropped off big time and by 4:00, we were already starting to pack up so that we would have a head start on packing up on Sunday.

Sunday was typically slow with mostly other vendors stopping by and picking up necessary parts for their cars or inventory for them to resell. Still a good day.

The new owners, Chris and Charli Wheatcraft was super from the time we renewed our spaces to the time that we pulled off of the door heading home. It is very good to see a show promoter who comes out and seems to be truly interested in making the show good for us and the spectators. Hopefully, this same attitude about taking care of the customers will extend over to their direct customers for the engine shop and likewise the show will continue on with new blood and ideals to make it a legitimate swap meet drawing a good selection of vendors and spectators.

Thanks for all who stopped by and checked out what we have to offer!!
