Made it to Vegas for Saturday only as planned.... wanted at least one day to get things done around the house. That was the plan... until we got home at 1am! Oil downs, a dragster goes on its side at the hit.... man what a long day!! Made it to round 3 before throwing it away with a .022 deficit at the light and a double breakout. Was running a 9.20 car so I just trusted the dial and ran it out. Fastest pass of the day.... 10.87 on a 89 dial :). Was nice to see my Vegas friends and get a little data for Muscle Cars at The Strip in two weeks.
playing around in the shed I put a fitting into my brand new puke tank.... didn’t think it was tight, but that sucker locked in! By the time I got it out was had some severely messed up threads! At first I was just going to do some grinding and have the fitting welded on, but after I slept on it, I stopped at the hardware store and with a die grinder made a tap and die from steel pipe. Whew! Got out of that one!
