My buddy had a 727 in his Hemi dart bracket car. Made many bitchin runs. Was talked into a TH400. He went with the builder that builds most of the Chevy trannies for the Chevy guys. First tranny exploded on the line. Next made the 60 ft. Third tranny never made the quarter mile. 727 back in. No more Chevy **** for him. The guy building the TH400 supposedly used the best parts money can buy. He has never had this much bad luck in all his years. Next up for the 727 when it gets freshened is the light weight kit that removes 7.27 lbs from the rotating assambly. Kim
