what did you buy? what did you think of some of the prices for stuff? jadaharabi and i were there, along with a few other fabo members. i bought 2 bb truck oil pans w/pickups and dipstick tubes. got them really, really cheap. we went on friday night, paid the 25.00 to get in early. went back sat a.m. and got in 1 hr before the regular crowd. we will do that again next year also. i thought some guys were out of line on their parts and not willing to deal. but that is their choice. some stuff was pretty cheap i thought. but you got some of the guys with the gm mentality that bring the rustiest, greasiest frickin junk they can find. and want premium money. just sad. had a nice conversation with chris wheatcraft, one of new owners of indy cyl head. they got a lot of new stuff coming out. hope they do well.

I always see that. Its part of the game. Then you find the guys who just want to unload the stuff, offering you free stuff after you buy something or even boxes of odds and ends marked 'free'. Rather take a loss than pack it out, I like those deals! Overheard some guys say "this guy hits every 'piss-n-parts' and strips every A-body of disk brakes that he can find" There you go, the stuff is still muddy and rusty.

I thought most of the prices were fair this year. I saw a few really good deals, made the mistake of doing a once through and going back, and they were sold. Met up with Jadaharibi and had a great time.

By contrast, and I can't gimp/ limp very fast, last time I went to the "good guys" thing in Spokane, it took less than 10 minutes to take in the entire swap section. Other than beater Ford Chev stuff, there's not much there

My brother went and took his leftover 70 and 71 Cuda parts. Sold the trailer full before he unloaded it. He and the buyer were both happy.

I bought an ACC carpet, weather stripping, and some screw kits for my '67 Barracuda project. Anytime I can go to an old car swap meet, is a good day!

Who cares how many pages there are? Can't somebody else tell their story?

To the OP, sounds like yall had a good time. Maybe one day before I kick off, I'll get to go to a big show like that. It'd be fun.

we were supposed to leave at about 7 am sat to get home for wifes birthday, but we did catch up with anyone on friday nite so we figured we could stay til bout 930/1000 but ended up staying til 1100. only 10 at home and only 4 hr trip. had a great time. would have liked to met more fabo members but maybe next year.

One of thee years, before I get too old I might be able to get to one of these big shows. I have trouble making the local shows LOL.

Some stuff was a bit high but for the most part not too bad. Grabbed a battery cut off switch for $45 and a direct connection wing nut for $5. Manly went to drop off a center section to a buddy.

The DC wingnut for five bucks is the best deal I've heard this year!!

Our big swap meet is coming at the beginning of April in 3 weeks. The entire two-and-a-half miles of the PIR track has a booth every 20 feet on either side..
Also the expo Center and its entire parking lot is full of booths you're doubling that of the track. It takes a day to walk through each and two days at each one to shop.. love it..

It wasn't a case of how many pages, but he could find the answer right away with the previous post. Wouldn't have to wait till guys posted. Sometimes you have to think a little of what is going on.

With the final votes coming in I sold around $1350 and bought right at $700.
My cost was $525 van rental
$126 Days Inn 2 nights
$120 Swap space
