Is anyone using a hydraulic slave cylinder on there A833 4speed. I'm converting from an automatic and with the steep price of buying every little part brand new it got me thinking why now just fab up a slave cylinder mount use some inexpensive universal hotrod parts to make it happen. I'd love to see some pictures or any links to someone that has already done this. thanks in advance.

There's more threads in this forum about that than I can post links to-
Search "hydraulic clutch install" in the Manual Trans forum and you'll have an entire evening's worth of reading on different options.

Folks have done it. There are some challenges to overcome especially if you plan to run headers.

Im sticking with the factory clutch linkage on my Cuda however I did have to modify the slave placement on my'73 350/Muncie Land Cruiser. Im a fan of hydraulic, super simple, durable and so flexible especially in custom applications

That makes sense. I'm going from a small block automatic to a big block 4-speed using the schumacher tri-y headers.

Probably going to have to put the engine with heads and trans in, possibly with the hump not installed yet (if you haven't installed it) and see what you have for room.
