Mancini Extra Heavy Duty Rear leaf Springs

For what it's worth, my '68 convertible weighs 3750 lbs without me in it. I run a pair of the passenger side 3200lbs SS springs with Koni shocks from Firm Feel and a set of well adjusted slapper bars on it. So far, it's the best combination of ride smoothness, road compliance and traction I've found in the last 4 decades. If you use a pair of driver's side 3200 lbs springs, the car will sit slightly lower. The 3700 lbs springs are just way to stiff for daily driver use, and they sit too high.

Initially I could feel the front spring segment wrapping pretty bad on hard launch without the slapper bars, so I put some on. It was shocking how hard my car hooks up out of the hole with them on there.

The photo here shows the 275/65-15 Nitto Drag Radials. I like having more ground clearance on the open road and around town, but don't want to compromise the handling too much compared to having it sit lower. It never rubs.
