The swaybar isn't the best place for those IMO. I'd rather have them attached to a bumper bolt. AR Engineering makes a nice looking one. Tie down loops, pair | AR Engineering
I agree. Strapping a car down with these feeble loops would be a perfect solution ONLY IF the alternative is the right and left side mirrors . I suppose they would be OK for pulling the car but, even then, it would be lame. Any angular pull will cause the loops to spin in the direction of force.. I've trailered my share of cars and I can easily say I'd shy away from these for hold down points.
My bet is that someone else has seen these and may know the purpose. I'm big at guessing
