can anyone tell me what this trans is please? the pan looks like a 904 but there's a notch in the bellhousing like you'd have for a flywheel sensor which would make it late, maybe a 4 speed?
thanks in advance, neil.

It's a 32RH. Hydraulic shifted three speed. Small block, mid 90's Dodge truck trans.

ok, thanks. so that's also called the a999 trans? i need to get a torque convertor for it that's why i wanted to make sure i knew what i had. would this trans have a lockup type convertor?
neil.

How many plugs (electrical

socket) do you see?

I bet the guys are right about it being a lockup but here's a quick easy way to identify any lockup trans. Look at the end of the input shaft. If it has splines nearly all the way to the end it's a non lockup trans. If it has the end machined down smooth for about 1/2-3/4" it's a lockup. Here's a couple pics. The one on the left is a lockup type input shaft. Right one is a non lockup type

i'll double check when i'm there tomorrow but i think it has the machined end to the shaft so it is a lockup type. the pics are from the ad i bought it from and you can't make it out. i'll let you know.
neil.
