This past weekend was supposed to be the first showing for my 66 Valiant since getting it back on the road. I was going to take it to a Cars & Coffee cruise-in at J&M Speed Center in Riverside, CA till Covid-19 got in the way. Ironically, the cruise-in was located only a few miles from Corona, CA - where my brother lived.
But, in any case, the weather finally got nice today and since we are all affected by the need for increased social distancing and many car shows and cruise-ins will be cancelled I just figured - well, why not?

@Super Sleeper nice looking cruiser you got going on there, and I really enjoy the car show. The very least I could do is to bring you a couple virtual beers... lol

I'll play. While walking around the car. I can be heard muttering to my friend. I have one just like it at home but mines in better shape. That's the wrong xxxxx for that year. I bet the guy had somebody else do all the work. He probably just threw money at it.

Sorry, couldn't help it. Very Nice Ride. I wish I had mine done. Thank you for sharing.

Believe it or not, it looked like that here yesterday!
that picture was taken when i was in the process of buttoning up the 360 swap
i know, it looks brilliant...but a quick glance at the floor under the tent will show you, i wasnt very fast putting it up

heres a shot of it at an actual show (from the look on my boy face, towards the end of it)

I'm sure your boy forgave you on the ride home. That engine bay looks hot!

thanks
its a 408 in there, sucking cold air from inside the fenders
(there is a large 90 degree elbow on the other end of that pipe, keeping most of the road dust out)

I was never much into the early A's, but I have to admit I really like your car. :)

I'm afraid that it will be like that (post #1), everywhere, for several weeks. -- :( --

Looks good! hey, maybe since they have shut down all the car shows you may be on to something.

I self quarantined with a nice long early morning ride in the Duster last weekend, while the wife was sleeping!

Ok, I’m in! The Spring show I usually attend has been postponed so I will just show it here.

What’s a good cruise-in unless you get a chance to walk around the car and hear it run...and see it drive by!
