Almost 50 years ago I bought a brand new 340 Duster. First oil change I used Castrol GTX and had lifter noise after car sat for a week. Changed to Quaker State Super blend and no more noise. Of course oils were a lot different 50 years ago, but it might be a cheaper way of eliminating or solving the problem. Try a different oil.
