Backyard Incinerator

Wow, we're closer to each other than I thought! You could be my next-door neighbor. He cut down about 25 Italian cypress trees from around the perimeter of his property, left the branches in his backyard until they dried out and then burned them in a 55-gallon drum.
He only burned on overcast days with gray skies so the smoke wasn't so easily seen.
We're only three blocks from the closest fire station. I was a little surprised that the fire department never showed up on "burn days".
I found it funny since he's the type that makes sure everyone else on our cul-de-sac follows all the rules and regulations.
He's been restoring an old Jeep for the past 15 years and occasionally paints parts in his driveway - not using rattle cans but using his compressor and spray gun.
I don't paint in my driveway....my burns are more like low smoke s'more fires.....
