I'm being picky... LOL. I can use basically use any rear end from any full size Dodge truck from 1965 -2003... LOL. Of course the 2nd gen ram would be wider stance. I can also use a Dakota/Durango rear end, or a car 8.75 also. In fact, a B-body rear end has the exact same perches as the truck. It just narrower after the leaf perch. Just need a offset rim. So tons of options
Removing and re welding your perches yourself is where the $89 Harbor Freight welder comes in.. I snapped my 489 case gears before anything happened to my Harbor Freight welds on the perches...
