Who’s cooking for the weekend

@pittsburghracer , you get a hero's award for this one. Your concoction looked so good I stopped at the local market for some potatos, an onion, and keilbasa. All I did different was brown everything in a big fry pan, add some garlic, and put the lid on it for 45 minutes in the oven. It. Was. To. Die. For. Seriously. I'm not a huge eater, but I went back for thirds and almost wiped out the entire batch.

Hey I’m glad you enjoyed it. I even cooked up a batch of this in a Wok one time to speed it up and smaller serving.

Corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots. These are the left overs with about a half pound of corned beef in each container.

Yeah PBR, that picture is in my head now.

If you're into the slow cooker -

4 or 6 pork chops, thick or med thick. 2 cans of unsweetened apple pie filling, layered between so the chops don't stick to each other. 7.5 hrs on low. Easy.

ill make some pigs in a blanket after church tomorrow (and yes, i will be going to church)

Wow didn’t expect this...the bbq/Nashville chicken place where I eat all the time, they started with a good business model of doing take-out very nicely, my sandwich was free today, I just paid for the beer I enjoyed while I waited, when I got home there was an extra beer and cucumber salad too

Linguica! I love to make linguica and egg burritos for breakfast.

Ya mean if there's any left from the previous evening's BBQ?
One of the best things about being on the Ca Central Coast :D.
I BBQed a lot when I lived in the desert before I moved up here.
Santa Maria Style BBQ opened a whole new world :D.

We generally use the Jalapenas out of our garden but not yet! Wife stuffs them with some sort of cream cheese/crab thing, and wraps them in bacon and grill/ Some might be a little hot, ya never know!! While the grill is going bbq ed chicken halves. Maybe some chicken livers wrapped in bacon. Yes the sauce is home made. Maybe a 7 cheese twice baked grits casserole too! Wash it down with a little cold beer? Lemon pie on a pecan crust for dessert???
And that's for breakfast!!???

I figured you would be carving up a ribeye or two . lol

Well last Wednesday was my birthday and I usually go to Longhorn steakhouse. With everything going on I bought myself two steaks on Friday and after my walk and during a three hour power outage I cooked up my steaks. Pretty tasty. Tomorrow or Thursday I’m making baked spaghetti
