28" tires possible?!

Anybody successfully running a 28" tire on an early Dart? Something like a 275/60R15.

If so, what mods were required, and do you have any pics?
 
ive got 28s on my 64 dart P205/70R15 running on all four wheels 15x7. They are a +2 tire.

it rubs in the rear when i have the car loaded with four people going around tight corners fast. Makes it look much taller then stock
 
A 205/70R15 is only 26.3 inches tall.

I currently run 245/60R15s, which are 26.6 inches tall.

I wanna run something like a 275/60R15.
 
i seen 255 60 15 on early dart back space,fender rolling, leaf springs moved should do it,
i run a 225 70 14x7 with 4.25 back space on my 64 stock everything in the rear.
 
15x7 with 235/70-15. Anything much bigger and you will have to trim or roll the wheel lip and/or move the springs in.

On my 66 Dart I run a 28x10-15 racing slick. I am using a 10” wide wheel with a 6” back space. I had to relocate the springs and do a mini tub. Not a lot of cost involved but there is a lot of labor when doing all this.
