Your teen age cruisin' hang outs
We had Pat's in the 60's where guys with the hot cars would come to and hang out. This was before organized cruise nights, it was just the place to go to see muscle cars anytime.
The other place had a couple nights for cruise night, .. one of the first of that type in the area that I could recall.. both long gone.
We used to race underneath this bridge (Skyway) where there was a road that really went nowhere and had no traffic. Only bad part there was only one way out, and sometimes the police would herd us like cattle and roadblock the exit road. Needless to say a lot of muffler and any other tickets were handed out.
