i just posted it under masks heading, but got an email from harbor freight that they are donating n95 masks, face shields and 5/7 mil nitrile gloves to hospitals. thumbs up to hf if true.

Sorry about your son, we wish him nothing but the best!

Also the virus isnt a constitutional right so that's what I'm more afraid of. Sucks having to wait in line at the gun shop lately though.

Dont understand a run on guns , I had what I think I needed before this----------

My wife has me cleaning out the basement. Darn near impossible to dodge that kind of stuff if you are stuck home.....

Guns are like Mopars. You can never have to many

My brother and I are hoping all these people try and return them after the scare in a couple weeks and we get them at big discounts :D

I am getting a lot of work done on my Barracuda. If the weather ever clears up, I have some dead Ash trees that need cut up and cleared before mowing season. I have 20 acres, so spring time is a little busy when the grass starts going nuts!

Speaking of guns. A couple of weeks ago I finally found it, a 22 revolver. It's a 9 shot H & R 929. Been wanting one forever. It has nothing to do with the virus I just wanted one.

As for the virus, it hit a mile from my house at the Peoria Airport, yesterday. One of the baggage inspectors I believe it was. Too close to home.

I'm just going to sit out here at the house with the wife. Got a month supply of food. I really could use some TP down to my last 7 rolls. Lol

I don't either but it's putting work on our Printing press so it's all good. We do work for firearms manufacturers and yes it's hot right now....

The speaker of the house, here in Michigan is a Baptist
He went to bat for us, and as a result churches are exempt from the ban on gatherings of groups over 50

On the other had, it wasn't very busy in Church today, well see how the evening service goes in an hour or so

I personally know three people that are confirmed to have covid 19. A racing buddy, his wife and her girlfriend who is the girlfriend of another good racing buddy. I also know of at least two or three other cases that are friends of friends.

That being said, things are good in my home and our kids home across the country (our kids are students and live together in Ontario). We are all still healthy. My wife is a teacher and while schools are closed, she has to work to facilitate online teaching and will continue working and getting paid for the foreseeable future. My job has decided to cut the workforce into two shifts and run two two week shifts, in order to protect the employees and company. I am lucky enough to still be on full time salary.

So I am off for the next two weeks with pay, the house is stocked with food, I have to work remotely from home but will have lots of spare time. My garage is also stocked and I plan to work lots on my 50 Dodge gasser!

Hoping this all blows over soon but honestly I think that we are all in for a minimum of 6 months.

If you say so. LOL
:usflag:

I’m not the one that gets offended by it.

Taking a shower after stocking the pond. Using the handheld to blast the remnants.
Made a planter out a beer stein. Had to ponder if I should drill holes in an authentic Bavarian made in Westerwald. But I can't drink anymore, so be it. The plant is a cutting from ancient mommy, who is around 30 years old. Old Advent Legacy and humidor at the rear.

I have been seeing an uptick in "falls". Seems like a good time for the 50+ generation to get on ladders/shed roofs. Experienced guys too. "Next thing I new I was on the ground" is a familiar saying. Its not worth a head bleed fellas. Hire the kid down the street. He still has cat-like reflexes and is made of rubber. Just saying. Not much has changed for me. Work. Home. Projects.
