That cactus needs to be finished into some sort of little mythical creature.

I accidently ran over a barrel cactus that looked a lot like that but was green, and had much larger hooked needles on it. Was riding up at black mountain with a friend , it put 9 holes in the left front tire of my lt500 quadzilla ..
 
Looks cool,I love driving on dirt and gravel roads . Very few left around here.
That place looks idyllic.

There's a 'main' road south of here that is 90+ miles. Some of it is 'all-weather'. Other places the SUV of love - Subaru - won't begin make it. Middle of absolutely freaking nowhere. I saw a badger Jeeping that road. In the middle of high desert. Once in a lifetime thing and truly odd. Also have seen elk mingling with pronghorn.
