Where I live in southern Kali know one I know is sick or been sick or knows anyone that is or has been sick, just curious.self quarantined now for two weeks, retired High risk 100% disabled vet

Healthy enough here. Still kicking. Nobody in my immediate area that I know of yet, here or abroad

Two nurses where I live have it. We have about 50 in our county. That is people who have been tested. They're running out of testing kits here. We have some coming from the state to the county.

An administrator at one of the schools I worked in before I retired contracted the virus. I don't see how he got it, back when the flu was floating around quite heavily he was the biggest germophobe around. He announced throughout the day, no hand shaking, no hugging, keep your distance, & wash your hands regularly. My prayers go out to him & anyone else with has contracted it.

The assistant principal at my grandson's (who lives with us) last year's school and his wife both had it. We became friends as he helped with our autistic grandson.

He is home, but she is at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta still battling it. He posted a video on Facebook about his ordeal. Said it's a terrible thing.

So far that's the only people I know. Hope it stays that way!!

SF Bay Area here hit pretty hard, but I personally don’t know anyone who’s got it. Hope I never will.

My son is a funeral director and this is his nightmare,he’s on his 3 corona victim today.one of which he’s known his whole life.
No embalming, no dressing,no visitors,no mass.
direct burial or cremation only.
So sad in so many ways.

We have one friend who seems to be symptomatic. Told us she was out shopping.(Idiot)
And that's why we have chosen to self isolate. Both Me and My gf had pneumonia within the last 10 years . That was rough I don't know if My lungs could handle anything like that again.Had a ct scan a few weeks ago and seems my lungs may have some scar tissue.

I am down in la-la land (Crazy SoCal) and I see more people out now than I did before this whole lockdown... I go for my 3-4 mile run every morning so... anyway - My wife (in the UK) said her brother-in-law got tested and is positive for it - he's up in Sacramento. Other than that it's business as usual around here - besides not going out to eat.

Only a few cases in Kansas and none in my immediate area. Not time to panic here yet. Well, at least, not time for my wife and me to panic. Our faith gives us a lot of peace. We are hoping and praying for the best. We are taking precautions, but not giving into hysteria.

My daughter in law is a cardio nurse in one of the largest hospitals in Cincy.
She says the hospital is eerily quiet and really not much going on.
She says that there are still people having heart issues, and that flow has been the same, but surgeries have pretty much been put off unless medically necessary.
She says that the ER is busy, but not like before. The junkies and the "frequent flyers" are being turned away. They have a COVID-19 test station set up out in the parking lot. It's a drive thru thing, and you have to have a referral for that or you don't even get in the line.
I honestly wonder how many people have already had this stuff, recovered and don't even know it.

i posted this somehwere else, closed i can get is 4 degrees

my nieces, husbands' coworker who lives in germany tested positive

Nobody I know of yet. My wife works at local Hospital and no cases there yet. My prayers for everyone affected.

Two week ago I returned from a funeral in Lexington and the next day I had extreme fatigue and body aches with a low grade fever and coughing up some stuff out of my lungs. I felt like that for two days and started feeling better.
I had something but was it Covid 19? I doubt it but was never tested.

I don't know anyone with it as of yet. I live in Greene County, Missouri, and there are currently 14 known cases. Greene County has over 300,000 citizens. They are no longer telling if they are travel, or community related.

I know of three people firsthand - one of my drag racing budies, his girlfriend and her girlfriend (who is the gf of another car budde) all have it. The ladies are dentists.

Then I know of another 2 or three people who are not direct friends and have it.

This virus is very real and wreaks havoc with your lungs. Stay at home and stay healthy everyone!

I now have a nephew that is hospitalized. His mother only wishes she could go see him.

I have a friend who believes he may have had it a month ago. Just figured he had severe pneumonia. Now he thinks it may have been this. His children were sick, but not like him. His neighbor was hospitalized at that time as she was unable to get out of bed.

It could have been, Bob!!

I started feeling ill Saturday. Severe sore throat, coughing up all kinds of mucus...gobs and gobs of it. No fever. So this morning just so happens I have a follow-up from cholesterol blood test. I tell them at the door how I feel. They check and I have a 100 degree temperature. Give me a mask.

Doctor was not too concerned. Ask the Covid questions: have you traveled out of the country, etc, etc. Told me to get rest, take Mucinex DM, and call him if I get worse. I'm thankful I'm very healthy! I'm off work until I no longer have a fever. Hopefully it won't take long, I'm ready to go back to work now, lol. I'm fortunate that I have a job I truly enjoy.

By the way, my cholesterol is great! Yay for Omega-3!

Is he hospitalized because of COVID?
